Key Job Details – Med/Surg RN

• Location: Lebanon, NH (03756) – Upper Valley region
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Surgical Unit (32 beds)
• Assignment Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/21/2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (AM: 07:00–19:00, PM: 19:00–07:00)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• On-Call: Required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990–$2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New Hampshire or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg and surgical nursing experience
• Proven experience caring for post-surgical patients (vascular, thoracic, colorectal, general surgery)
• Clinical skills in chest tubes, tubes, drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone), lines/tubes/drains, trachs/laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, and central line care
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-surgical patients with diagnoses such as ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, and sepsis
• Monitor and manage chest tubes, central lines, drains, and complex wounds
• Administer and titrate IV drips and medications according to physician orders
• Perform blood draws and maintain central line integrity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other units as required to support patient care across the hospital
