Job Description

Join USAA as a Senior Claims Analyst, where you'll adjust moderately complex bodily injury claims and provide exceptional service to members. This full-time, hybrid role offers a chance to work with a dedicated team committed to excellence and support the military community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adjust attorney-involved and non-represented bodily injury claims
  • Investigate loss details, determine legal liability, and negotiate claims
  • Prioritize and manage assigned claims workload
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues
  • Deliver best-in-class member service
  • Support workload surges and catastrophe response operations
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified and controlled

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
  • 2 years of auto claims adjusting experience
  • 1 year of injury adjusting experience
  • Proficient knowledge of auto claims contract and regulations
  • Proficient negotiation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated time-management and decision-making skills
  • Proficient knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
  • Ability to exercise sound financial judgment
  • Proficient knowledge of coverage evaluation and loss assessment
  • Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 or more years auto liability/casualty adjusting experience
  • 1 year or more experience in Uninsured motorist claims
  • Ongoing professional development in Insurance
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
