Job Description

Join Quill, part of the Staples family, as a B2B Sales Representative. Drive sales for a portfolio exceeding $8-10M while managing and expanding customer relationships. Utilize strategic planning and sales methodologies to achieve growth in a supportive and inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales results for assigned book of accounts with large sales and potential (~$8-10M+)
  • Acquire new business and grow sales as well as manage current customer base
  • Map accounts and identify core and specialty category opportunities
  • Create and maintain a solid understanding of accounts and build strategic growth plans
  • Utilize enablement tools to keep customer data updated and manage a healthy pipeline
  • Know products, customers, and vertical markets
  • Utilize Salesforce on a regular basis
  • Execute sales strategies through various channels including phone and on-site visits
  • Leverage sales methodologies to retain and grow customer base

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years sales experience in Account Management and/or Business Development
  • Must have the availability to travel (up to 4x per year)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience working with large complex accounts
  • Had responsibility for a sales quota and a track record of exceeding quota
  • Managed a complex deal shaping from start to finish
  • Experience with business-to-business sales process
  • Had responsibility to retain and grow accounts
