Job Description
Join Optum as a Clinical Administration Coordinator, where you will be pivotal in improving health outcomes through exceptional administrative support. You'll manage client relations, appointment coordination, and billing processes in a collaborative environment focused on health equity and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and check-in clients, ascertain purpose of their visit
Schedule client appointments and manage cancellations
Accurately enter client information into electronic medical record system
Answer phone calls and respond to emails
Handle billing processes and verify insurance coverage
Maintain cleanliness of the reception area and clinic spaces
Perform clerical duties including copying, scanning, and filing
Assist with administrative projects and support various departments
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of front desk, administrative or customer service experience
1+ years of experience in a front service desk, administrative assistant, or customer service role
1+ years of experience presenting, reading, and interpreting information
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products
1+ years of experience understanding common terminology of the mental health field
Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a front service desk, administrative assistant, or customer service role
2+ years of experience interpreting compliance-related information
Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
Ability to work independently
