Key Responsibilities
Respond to attraction downtimes and support urgent engineering services
Develop scope for attraction reliability improvement efforts
Select systems and equipment meeting design requirements
Monitor downtime trends and control system performance
Investigate and troubleshoot system-level issues
Plan and coordinate technical and management aspects of engineering tasks
Perform hazard analyses including fault tree analysis and FMEA
Ensure compliance with standards and codes
Required Qualifications
5+ years in Controls Systems experience in amusement park or industrial/manufacturing environment
Dynamic, kinematic, hydraulic, and pneumatic analysis and calculations
Familiarity with electronic control systems and signal processing
Knowledge of electrical motor controls
Experience with industrial automation PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)
Knowledge of National and California Electrical Code
AutoCAD proficiency
Object-oriented programming (C/C++)
Ladder logic expertise
Understanding of wiring and interconnect diagrams
Knowledge of ANSI, ASTM, and IEEE standards
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
California Professional Registration
Experience in controls circuit design and troubleshooting
Knowledge of PDL and ICL
Familiarity with safety PLCs and industrial controls
Experience with audio/visual systems
Knowledge of system reliability
Scripting in C, VB, JS, etc.
