Responsibilities:
- Compile and process payroll data including hours worked, commissions, bonuses, and tax withholdings
- Update and maintain accurate payroll records including changes in wages, exemptions, benefits, and departmental transfers
- Prepare direct deposit files and ensure timely, accurate payroll delivery
- Maintain detailed records of paid time off, sick leave, and non-taxable wages
- Generate and submit payroll reports related to earnings, taxes, and deductions
- Manage onboarding and termination paperwork, including COBRA notifications
- Administer employee benefits paperwork and coordinate insurance payments with the office manager
- Keep records of employee eligibility for vacation, sick leave, and benefits
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in payroll and/or HR administraation (dealership or automotive experience is a plus!)
- Familiarity with payroll systems and employment documentation requirements
- Computer literate and must be able to learn Company software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee data
- Team player with a proactive attitude and keen attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
