Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN – Traveler)

Location: Blackfoot, ID
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered emergency care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies.
  • Assess, plan, and implement care for patients presenting with a variety of medical emergencies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple patients in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements:

  • Active Idaho RN License or Compact State License .
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required.
  • Certifications Required:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable working independently and within a collaborative team.

Schedule & Details:

  • Shift: 12-hour nights
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Weekend Requirements: Rotating or set schedule (must include Friday and/or Saturday — e.g., Sat–Mon or Wed–Fri).
  • On-call: None
  • Floating: Not required
  • Block Scheduling: Available upon request
  • Scrubs: Solid colors only (no prints)
