This role involves working in fast-paced hospital units providing direct and continuous care to acutely ill adult patients.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing, particularly in Cardiac Telemetry, to join our healthcare team. This role involves working in fast-paced hospital units providing direct and continuous care to acutely ill adult patients. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac and other complex conditions in MS/Tele units. Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac telemetry readings (including arrhythmias, heart blocks, etc.). Administer medications and treatments per provider orders. Collaborate closely with physicians, care teams, and families. Document patient information accurately in the EMR system. Respond to emergencies and use critical thinking in acute situations. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards. Requirements: Minimum 4 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing. Strong experience in Cardiac Telemetry required. Proficient in reading and interpreting cardiac rhythms (EKG). Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required). Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred). Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to new environments quickly.
