Key Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care and staff performance
Ensure high-quality patient care 24/7
Collaborate closely with Nurse Managers
Assist with responsibility for designated clinical area(s)
Work with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications
Texas Registered Nurse License
Meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination
Training in Moderate Sedation, Dysrhythmia Recognition, Sterile Technique
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
5 years Critical Care Nursing experience
3 years Unit Specific or procedure experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Specialty certification related to unit (RCIS, RCES, CCRN)
Charge Nurse/leadership experience
ACC-NCDR Registry experience
GE Cardio Lab computerized documentation system experience
