Join Optum as a Medical Receptionist where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the care team and enhancing patient experience. In this full-time position, you will greet patients, manage appointments, and ensure smooth operations in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and conduct check-in process
Schedule appointments using approved guidelines
Collect and verify demographic information
Monitor daily reminder call logs and conduct outreach to patients
Manage administrator in basket pools and work queues
Demonstrate respect for patients and maintain confidentiality
Assist coworkers to ensure smooth office operation
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED
1+ years of customer service experience
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
Experience working with Epic
Previous pediatric experience
