Job Description
As a Transportation Supervisor at Sysco, you will oversee the delivery operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while managing staff and resources efficiently. Your leadership will enhance customer service and operational productivity in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Manage labor hours and consumable supplies within budget
Prepare work schedules and oversee company assets
Organize repairs and review delivery functions and productivity
Communicate with Sales Management to resolve customer delivery issues
Maintain associate relations and morale
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years related experience and/or training
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
Preferred Qualifications
2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management
HazMat certification
Completed a Sysco approved defensive driving program
