Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer trauma care quality improvement programs
  • Manage trauma registries and coordinate care pathways for trauma patients
  • Participate in research initiatives with health organizations
  • Educate staff and patients about trauma care
  • Plan and conduct continuing education programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • 5 years Nursing experience
  • 2 years Emergency Department experience
  • Completion of WA DOH trauma program manager orientation course within 18 months of hire
  • 36 hours of trauma-related education every three years
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certificate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Project management experience
