Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Qualifications:
Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (or actively in the process of obtaining licensure).
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of one year of professional experience preferred.
Additional requirements may apply depending on assignment.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled speech therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, evaluate progress, and modify care to achieve therapy goals.
Work with patients on speech, voice, language, and communication skills to improve effectiveness.
Implement strategies to strengthen swallowing muscles and/or teach compensatory techniques for safe swallowing.
Establish realistic, individualized goals to help patients restore or enhance communication and swallowing abilities for educational, vocational, and social engagement.
