As a Health & Safety Site Manager at Primient, you will ensure the safety and well-being of employees and the environment. You will lead the development and implementation of health and safety programs while managing a dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
Manage a team including Environmental Manager and Health & Safety personnel
Oversee employee and contractor training programs
Establish and maintain industrial hygiene monitoring
Act as a liaison during emergencies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments
Provide training and communicate safety protocols
Monitor safety metrics and prepare reports
Stay updated with relevant laws
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
At least 10 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations
Excellent communication skills
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety programs
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
Preferred Qualifications
Corn wet milling experience
