Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Behavior Technician to support K-12 special education students in Minneapolis–Saint Paul. Engage with students in a structured classroom, implementing individualized plans that foster growth and success while gaining valuable experience in education.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis
Utilize various learning methods to enhance engagement and outcomes
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing scores on relevant assessments
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Prior experience working with children in a structured setting
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs
