As a Clinical Coordinator in the Medical Surgical department, you will oversee nursing care scheduling, ensure quality of patient care, and lead the nursing team. This role involves facilitating communication among healthcare teams and managing unit activities, all while maintaining a supportive and effective healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitates RN as Coordinator of Care and multidisciplinary team activities
Evaluates care delivery and patient satisfaction
Completes monthly time schedules and daily staffing adjustments
Participates in staff development and orientation
Coordinates unit activities in absence of the Nurse Manager/Director
Performs payroll edits and supervises unit process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Associates' degree in nursing
State of Florida RN
Minimum of three (3) years' experience
BCLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
ACLS or PALS or NRP certification
