Job Description
As a District Sales Manager at Sysco, you will lead and develop a team of Sales Consultants to drive sales performance and growth in your district. Your role will focus on coaching, customer engagement, and leveraging technology to enhance service delivery, ensuring the success of your team and the satisfaction of Sysco's customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the performance and development of Sales Consultants within the district
Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with Sales Consultants
Lead Friday district meetings to inspire and educate the sales team
Direct Customer Engagement efforts and enable expanded service options
Utilize CRM for management of sales planning and customer engagement
Deliver Sysco brand results and manage conversion opportunities
Support national campaigns and manage territory planning
Required Qualifications
High School education required
2 or more years' experience successfully growing profitable sales in the foodservice industry
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to use Sysco's proprietary CRM tool for planning and forecasting sales growth
Demonstrates mastery of consultative selling and negotiations
