Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares patients and adjusts equipment for taking exposure.
  • Positions patients for procedures and works with physicians to obtain optimal images.
  • Operates c-arm equipment to provide quality images for the surgeons.
  • Coordinates surgery schedules to assure surgeons receive excellent radiology service.
  • Performs clerical duties (In House PACS and Teleradiology Competent).
  • Takes x-ray images in other areas of the hospital with portable equipment.
  • Assists with staff/student on-the-job training and orientation.
  • Produces high quality images via digital imaging for Radiologist interpretation.
  • Assists with the collection and maintenance of records as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or certification from an accredited School of Radiology
  • Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 60 Days

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years Related experience in surgery
