The RN will provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients throughout the childbirth process, ensuring safety and comfort for both mother and baby. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages Administer medications and manage IVs as prescribed Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures Provide emotional support and education to patients and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Qualifications: Current and valid RN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact license) Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Assignment Details: ~ Travel contract position ~12-hour day shifts (7 AM – 7 PM) ~
