Join Great Wolf Lodge as a Food & Beverage Manager, where you'll lead daily operations across multiple F&B areas, ensuring guest satisfaction and staff engagement while driving profitability. This role is pivotal in maintaining brand standards and enhancing the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily functions of the lodge restaurant and bar, quick service and banquet operations
Assist F&B leadership in achieving operational objectives and preparing strategic plans
Participate in hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and counseling of staff
Ensure compliance with training courses and operational standards
Support frontline staff in guest interactions to maximize satisfaction
Monitor food preparation and presentation standards in all venues
Assist in peak demand times across all guest-facing roles
Maintain storeroom organization and adherence to health codes
Control cost of goods sold through regular reviews
Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
Conduct pre-shift meetings and service audits
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1+ years leadership experience in food & beverage
Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands
Experience in driving business, revenue, control cost, guest satisfaction and employee engagement
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, payroll systems, POS
Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
Highly proficient with food safety and sanitation practices
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field
Preferably 2 years in a similar role
Manager-level certification from nationally accredited food safety training program
Manager-level certification from nationally accredited alcohol awareness & safety training program
Effective communication and ability to resolve conflict
Training and/or experience with hands-on kitchen and bar equipment maintenance
Prior management experience in hotel/resort industry
Strong analytical skills
Prior experience developing and implementing plans for a safe work environment
