Job Description
Join Albany Medical Center as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, where you'll utilize your advanced nursing skills to assess and manage patients. You'll collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver family-centered care and enhance patient outcomes through specialized practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and complete physical examinations
Order and interpret medical laboratory test results
Administer medications or treatments and perform minor surgery
Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical reports
Serve as a resource and team leader during clinical shifts
Act as a mentor to new staff and/or physician assistant students
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
NP - Nurse Practitioner Licensed Upon Hire
ATLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support Upon Hire
BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
