Job Description
Join Albany Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse II, where you will create a compassionate and caring environment for patients and families. You'll implement physician orders, assess patient needs, and collaborate with a dynamic nursing team to ensure quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Implements physician orders and administers medications
Starts IVs and performs treatments and procedures
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests
Assesses and evaluates patient needs
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
Collaborates with nursing team to create a Plan of Care
Directs and guides ancillary personnel
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques
