 Shift:  Nights | 12-hour shifts | 3 shifts/week | 36 hours/week 
 Start Date:  ASAP 
 Schedule:  7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend and every other holiday 
 Job Summary: 
 HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel ED RN to join a high-volume Emergency Department in Meriden, CT. The ideal candidate will have recent ED experience in a fast-paced environment with patient visits exceeding 150 per day and EPIC documentation experience. 
Assignment Details:
Duration: 13 weeks
Shifts: Nights (7p – 7:30a), 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
No on-call required
Qualifications:
Current CT RN license – Required
BLS Certification – Required
Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience – Required
Experience in a high-volume ED (>150 visits/day) – Required
EPIC experience within the past 6 months – Required
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide professional nursing care in a fast-paced ED setting
Assess, triage, and manage patients using acute care nursing skills
Administer medications, start IVs, and perform other patient care procedures
Accurately document patient care and progress in EPIC
Collaborate with multidisciplinary ED staff to ensure timely and quality patient care
Follow hospital policies, protocols, and evidence-based practices
