Key Responsibilities
Provides management oversight for multiple nursing neighborhoods
Acts as a resource to staff regarding administrative programs and policies
Promotes a collaborative approach with healthcare disciplines
Analyzes problems and offers recommendations
Investigates unusual situations and takes appropriate follow-up action
Communicates events requiring administrative attention to the Director of Nursing
Develops and implements infection prevention and control programs
Conducts investigations of incident occurrences
Empowers staff by promoting accountability and responsibility
Participates in facility committees and assessments
Required Qualifications
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Current RN license in the state you will be working
Three to four years of recent nursing experience
Demonstrated administrative and supervisory competency
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
One year management experience
Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control
