Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of new revenue from new customers in the public sector and commercial market
  • Build territory strategy and analyze performance to exceed revenue goals
  • Qualify prospects based on customer size, spend, and potential
  • Schedule appointments and present Quill values and solutions to prospective customers
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill and acquire new customers
  • Create custom pricing solutions for potential commercial customers
  • Ensure smooth transition to the account management team upon customer commitment
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Seek continuous improvement and apply coaching
  • Build trust and lead by example within the team
  • Grow share of wallet by consolidating business from other vendors

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years sales experience with at least 6 months of relevant experience in the public sector
  • Ability to cover a territory of Los Angeles, CA and surrounding Southern CA area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven business development experience
