Job Description
Join Johns Hopkins Medicine as a Cardiac Sonographer, performing diverse cardiac ultrasound studies in clinical and research settings. Key Responsibilities
Perform a range of cardiac ultrasound studies
Work closely with medical staff and investigators
Complete exams according to established policies and procedures
Instruct JHH Ultrasound students and Cardiology Fellows
Required Qualifications
Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic ultrasound program
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and disease
Knowledge of medical terminology
Advanced sonographic skills
Preferred Qualifications
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Experience in a hospital-based environment as a Cardiac Sonographer
