Job Description
Join Sentry as a Claims Actuary and enhance our actuarial capabilities in Claims. This high-profile role involves developing analytical tools, identifying performance trends, and communicating insights to leadership, making a significant impact on our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Independently lead the development of new Claims actuarial tools
Apply and recommend changes to actuarial and statistical methods and procedures
Identify trends and changes in Claims performance requiring further research or analysis
Summarize and analyze trend observations, analyze impact on profit and growth objectives, and make recommendations
Communicate results of analysis to leadership throughout the organization
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience with an emphasis in mathematics or actuarial science
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
Membership as an Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong financial and analytical skills to lead, communicate, and implement results of actuarial analyses
