Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of recent/consecutive Med Surg experience in hospital/acute care setting required
• Travel experience required - no first time travelers accepted
• Must be willing to float to other campuses Med Surg-Telemetry units (Bucyrus & Galion) if census drops
• Call required - must arrive at hospital within 1 hour when called in
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No holiday time off requests accepted, especially 12/20/2025 - 1/4/2026
• Typical staffing ratios are 1:5
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Knowledge of medication scanning required
• Epic experience preferred
• Valid state license required - pending licenses not accepted
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, airway management, isolation precautions
• Up to 8 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start through HealthStream
• Smoke-free facility and campus
• Must provide two recent supervisory references with clean employment history
