Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment
Produce radiographs, position and transfer patients
Select proper technical factors on an individual patient basis
Operate imaging equipment as directed
Develop film by automatic processing and use PACS system
Ensure radiation safety standards are met
Assist physician in administering opaque media
Maintain adequate records and cleanliness
Cooperate with personnel in the proper conduct of the department
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of continuous recent experience as a radiologic technologist II
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Certification/Competency in at least one specialized area (Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography, or PACS)
Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California Department of Health Services
Valid certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health
Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or equivalent education approved by the state of California
