RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in 11-bed Mission FSED unit with 1:4 patient ratio
• Day shift positions with 3 RNs staffing per shift
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Must have 2+ years FSED/ED experience - candidates without this will not be considered
• Proficiency required with tough sticks, large bore IVs, blood cultures, triage and monitoring
• Must be able to work with minimal oversight
• Work with trauma equipment, POC lab, and precipitous delivery situations
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform POC lab work and emergency response procedures
• Follow emergency protocols for code blue, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Float between FSED and ED units
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, CPI
• Must be flexible with good teamwork abilities
