AWS Training & Certification is looking for an experienced product leader who is passionate about transforming education on behalf of Amazon and its customers. As a Senior Product Manager, Technical for the AWS Training and Certification’s Skill Builder Core Services team, you will be responsible for the comprehensive technical product strategies around Identity and Profile Management that work backwards from the customer, considering learner needs as well as security postures. You will envision new ways to solve customer problems, helping learners and organizations access personalized training content faster, while driving telemetry system and data design, and improving business relevant reporting for both internal users and external customers. You will own defining Skill Builder product vision and strategy through deep understanding of customer needs and of latest solutions in AWS authentication and profile technologies. You will also work across a team of product managers to align our overall product roadmap in partnership with product, program, user experience, and technology teams. This role works closely with executive leaders, engineering, and customers, and partners with AWS Field and Service teams to enable customers to innovate with AWS technology.

This position requires a candidate who is customer focused with a passion for new, ambiguous, industry-defining projects in authentication technologies and profile management.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
~5+ years of experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition for software products or cloud services, with feature delivery and tradeoffs
~2+ years of experience in software or services related to data acquisition, warehousing, or analytics
~2+ years of experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
~2+ years of experience working in learning management service or technology industries
~1+ year of experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
