Job Overview
- Description: ER Magnet Level II Trauma Center.
Unit: ER
Schedule: Nights, 3x12s
Duration: 13-weeks
ASAP start (exact date dependent on EPIC experience/training schedule)~~Fast-paced emergency department with 65,000 visits annually. The ED has 36 beds including 8 express care beds. Facility is currently a level II trauma center. The ED sees patients across the lifespan from neonate-geriatric. Facility is a certified comprehensive stroke center and 24-7 interventional cardiology. Magnet-designated facility. REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have Active VA or Compact License in hand at submission
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC Not required – preferred. If they do not have it we look for experience working in a trauma center.
• 3 years of experience *COVID: Possible
*Weekends: 6-weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. More details to be discussed in the interview. VACCINE INFO:
- The Flu vaccine is required during flu season. (Oct 1st - Mar 31st).
- If your traveler is requesting a religious or medical Flu exemption, it will be the responsibility of the agency to ensure the traveler’s request complies with CMS guidelines. Qualivis will review/approve each request with supporting documentation.
