RI Technologist – Pediatric Hospital (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Columbus, OH – National Childrens Hospital
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day & Evening Shifts Available
Contract Length: 26 Weeks (Contract-to-Hire)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our pediatric hospital team. This is a unique opportunity for professionals passionate about pediatric care and looking to transition into a long-term role with a mission-driven organization. Candidates with pediatric experience are highly preferred, but we welcome those eager to grow in this specialty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures; administer contrast media as needed.
- Monitor patients during scans to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper labeling and storage of images.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active status with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current CPR certification.
- ARRT (MRI) certification required within 1 year of employment.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Radiologic Sciences.
- 1 year of MRI experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Evening Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM (8.5-hour shifts)
- Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required
Additional Information:
- Local candidates only; travel candidates will not be considered.
- This is a 52-week contract-to-hire position.
- Sign-on bonuses available upon successful contract completion and full-time conversion.
