Join Raytheon as a Manufacturing Engineer II, where you'll develop and improve manufacturing processes, support daily operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product design and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions and workflow/routing
Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
Disposition non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators
Develop tools/fixtures to enhance ergonomics in processes
Lead corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
Knowledge and ability to apply CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preference for CREO/ProE)
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
Proven written and oral communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling, machinery and programming
Experience with Refurbishment and Repair requirements
