Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, submissions, publications, and presentations
  • Participate in publications and presentations as author or co-author
  • Develop, adapt and implement new techniques and protocols
  • Analyze, interpret, summarize, and compile data
  • Design, develop, and maintain laser-based time resolved fluorescence spectroscopy imaging systems
  • Develop algorithms for calibration of TRFS systems

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree
  • Completion of postdoctoral appointment in area of specialization
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in tissue optics
  • Fiber and free space optics
  • Image processing
  • Ability to program in MATLAB, Python, and C++
