A Regional Class A Owner Operator at Clean Harbors is responsible for safely operating tractor-trailer units over long-distance routes, primarily transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste across multiple states. The role prioritizes health and safety compliance, proper load securing, vehicle placarding, and accurate record keeping including daily logs and inspection reports. Compensation includes mileage pay and hourly rates, with opportunities for weekly home time and an average annual income of $200-250K.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Tucker, GA This route runs from Tucker, GA to various locations including Smithfield, KY/ Reidsville, NC/ Lexington, SC / Chattanooga, TN and other areas as needed. Approx. 2500 miles weekly.

About the role:

• Average $200-250K per year

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
