Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to direct care providers
Assess quality of care for specific patient populations
Coordinate and implement orientation of nursing staff
Collaborate with medical providers and patient care staff to develop educational curricula
Monitor trends and implement educational strategies for compliance with quality standards
Participate in system evaluation of technology and its impact on patients and resources
Act as a positive role model for nurses demonstrating evidence-based practice
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
5+ years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, and/or nursing management in an acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Basic certification in Education/Critical Care Nursing
