Key Responsibilities
Drive Meijer’s real estate development and market entry strategy
Participate in coordination of internal stakeholder alignment and approval
Leverage internal resources for market and competitor analysis
Travel to required markets to evaluate locations
Develop and maintain broker and developer relationships
Attend industry conferences and networking events
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in real estate-related site selection and development
At least 5 years in an owner-occupied, self-development retailer
Demonstrated history of continuous career progression
Ability to lead and motivate internal and external resources
Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills
Experience in negotiating commercial real estate transactions
Working knowledge of design, construction, and property management industries
Ability to travel to geographies of responsibility
