Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced LDRP RN to join a dynamic team providing care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work across multiple units when needed.

Unit Information:

• L&D Beds: 7
• Postpartum Beds: 12 Postpartum, 8 Surgical
• C-Section OR Suites: 1 dedicated, 2 GYN surgical ORs
• Triage Beds: 3
• Annual Deliveries: 643
• Charting System: Epic
• Scrubs: Surgical scrubs provided
• Orientation: 2 x 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Manage laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients including C-sections and surgical recovery
• Float as needed to NICU (feeder-growers), Peds MS, Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Psych as a sitter or helping hands
• Participate in triage and fetal monitoring (GE/Corometrics systems)
• Titrate drips: Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin
• Administer medications: TXA, Procardia, Methergine, Cytotec, Hemabate, etc.
• Scrub for deliveries (preferred)

Requirements:

• Experience: 3 years recent LDRP experience
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (Advanced preferred), STABLE
• Licensure: Active RN license
• Other: Must pass unit-specific open-book skills test with 90% minimum

Additional Info:

• Charge Nurse: Present, takes assignment, performs APGARS
• Support Staff: OB scrub techs, unit clerks, and techs (nursing students)
• Schedule: Rotating 12s, posted 6 weeks in advance
• Weekends: Every 3rd
• Holidays: As needed
