Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards and conducts individualized evaluations.
Treats patients using appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Educates patients/families on home exercise programs and functional activities.
Documents patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Supervises at least one affiliated student per year.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows based programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites
