Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician and make a meaningful impact by providing urgent mental health support to children and young adults in crisis. Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver culturally competent interventions and ensure effective treatment for the community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide culturally competent crisis interventions to children and young adults
Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations during crisis response
Create safety plans with clients and families
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Assist with intake process for new consumers
Enhance communication with Family Advocates
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual clinicians if relevant to the population serviced at site
