Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry with a minimum of 18 months of recent experience. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of the medical and surgical telemetry environment, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and telemetry data.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with hospital policy.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
- Must have an active permanent Ohio license or compact state license.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start.
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for is required.
- Successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
