Key Responsibilities
Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluations
Provide direct patient care and document findings
Assist in program development and serve as a resource to staff
Train and guide students and interns
Monitor patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas
Current Certification in Basic Life Support
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree along with a residency or fellowship program
30 hours of continuing competence activities in differential diagnosis
