Job Description
Join Providence Health and Services as a Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) in Primary Care, where you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care through both administrative and clinical tasks. Key Responsibilities
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments
Update patient information in EPIC
Take patients’ vital signs
Support the delivery of holistic patient care
Collaborate within a clinical environment
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including clinical skills
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
6 months of healthcare experience
6 months of medical assistant experience
Preferred Qualifications
