Key Responsibilities
Perform circulating functions before and during surgery
Monitor and manage the patient and operative environment
Ensure safety checklists and procedures are implemented
Provide nursing care to complex, high acuity surgical patients
Perform scrub functions, including handling instruments and supplies
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
6 months of OR nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
