Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Anchorage, Alaska.Job Description & Requirements

- Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies (preferred).
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies when appropriate.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in Epic EHR.
- Reassess and update care plans based on patient progress.
- Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and exercises
- Adult outpatient therapy experience.
- Knowledge in dysphagia management, dysarthria, CVA recovery, degenerative diseases, and TBI rehabilitation.
- Ability to use communication boards, memory aids, and compensatory strategies.
- Work with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Participate in care team meetings and case discussions.
Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year (Adult Outpatient experience required) License Requirement: Alaska SLP license (pending license accepted) Certifications: BLS
