ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas.
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 3-12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays
• Maintain patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on patient acuity
• Care for pediatric patients under 2 years of age in a 108-bed NICU
• Work with specialized equipment including nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes
• Use CPN and Meditech documentation systems
• Required to float to PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU as needed (contract staff float before permanent staff)
• Minimum 1 year level III NICU experience required
• Must have experience with preemies (at least 28 weeks and above), central line management, and respiratory management including intubated patients
• Preferred skills include experience with surgical patients, cardiac patients, patients under 27 weeks, trach infants, and broviacs
• Assist with procedures including central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• Work alongside RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs in a collaborative team environment
