HumanEdge Travel Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Owosso, Michigan.
Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry
Location: Owosso, MI Start Date: 9/22/2025 Duration: 13 weeksDetails:
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hr shifts)
Hours: 36 hrs/week guaranteed
Weekends: Every other weekend
Holidays: As scheduled
On Call: None
Float Requirement: Will float between Med Surg and PCU
Facility Overview:
Works under the supervision of the unit Supervisor/Manager/Director
Responsible for delivery of patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel
Ensures adherence to professional standards and hospital policies
Strong emphasis on patient education, safety, continuity of care, and multidisciplinary teamwork
Requirements:
2+ years Med Surg experience – Required
Experience floating to PCU – Required
Proficiency with Telemetry – Required
Must be able to read and interpret heart rhythms
Must pass a dysrhythmia test prior to working on the floor
Certifications: ACLS (AHA) & BLS (AHA) – Required
Covid Vaccine – Required (exemptions allowed)
Preferred Qualities:
Strong patient education skills
Ability to work collaboratively within healthcare teams
Flexibility and adaptability with floating assignments
