Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – ER I to support a high-volume emergency department in Newark, DE. This role involves managing a wide range of acute and emergent patient conditions, providing rapid assessments, and delivering high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced setting.

Required Qualifications

• Active DE or Compact RN License in hand (license number and expiration required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience — no exceptions
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong competency in trauma care, rapid response, and emergency patient stabilization

Unit Details

• 82 treatment spaces plus hallway overflow
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 or 1:5
• Charting: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Common Cases: Full spectrum of emergency complaints, trauma, medical, surgical, cardiac, pediatric
• Special Procedures: Moderate sedation, trauma care, splints, traction
