Job Description
Join Sanford Health as a Patient Care Technician in Orthopedics, where you will provide essential patient-centered care and support under the supervision of nursing staff. Your role will involve assisting patients with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and clean environment, all while contributing to the healing mission of one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Record vital statistics and basic health information
Administer basic health care and medical treatments
Assist with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, grooming, etc.)
Collect non-invasive biological specimens
Prepare and clean medical equipment
Perform clerical work related to patient healthcare
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED preferred
Strong communication skills
Customer service skills
Multi-tasking ability
Organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Experience with medical equipment/supplies
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
